Subject: News from the peace movement in Greece

The preparations for the demonstration that will take place on 8/11 continue 
in Athens and Thessaloniki. Every day more trade unions and mass 
organizations announce their participation. A lot of immigrant communities 
and organizations also announced their participation in the manifestation 
that has as mains slogans "No to the unjust war! No to the Greece 
engagement", "We say No to war, No to the new crime. People demand peace and 
a just society".

All over Greece broad anti-war commitees are been created, with the 
participation of  individuals and representatives of mass organizations. An 
anti-war commitee of young artists was created a few days ago with the 
participation of music groups, musicians and young actors.

At the same time the demostrations and multi-form activites continue all 
over Greece. Yesterday, 30/10 was day of action against the imperialist war 
in the Technological Institutions, while secondary school students and 
parent's associations demonstrated in Thessaloniki, shouting slogans against 
the war, demanding "expenses for the schools and the students and not for

Sujet : Infos sur le mouvement pour la paix en grece

Les preparations pour la manifestation qui aura lieu le 8/11 continuent a 
Athenes et a Thessalonique. Chaque jour, plus de syndicats et 
d'organistations de masse annonce leur participation. Beaucoups 
d'associations d'immigres ont egalement annonce leur particiaption aux 
manifestations qui ont pour slogans : "Non a la guerre injuste! Non a 
l'engagement de la Grece", "Nous disons NON a la Guerre, Non a un nouveau 
crime. Le peuple demande Paix et une societe Juste".
Toute a travers la Grece des comites contre la guerre ont ete cres, avec la 
participation d'individus et representant d'associations de masse. Un comite 
ant-guerre de jeunes artistes a ete cree il y a quelques jours avec la 
participation de groupes de musique, musiciens et jeunes acteurs.
Au meme moment des manifestations et des activites multiformes continuent 
partout en Grece. Hier, 30/10 etait une journee d'action contre la guerre 
imperialiste aux institus technologiques, pendant que les eleves du 
secondaire et les associations des parents ont manifeste a THessalonique 
contre la guerre, demandant "De l'argent pour les ecoles et les eleves et 
non pour la guerre".
