Dear Comrades and Friends
We send you the call for the demonstration that will take place on November
8 to the US embassy, against the imperialist war. Apart from the trade
unions, organizations and personalities that first endorsed it, more have
also express their support the last days.
Demonstrations are going to be held tommorow also in Thessaloniki, Patra,
Aigio, Kalamata, Giannena, Kavala, Kozani, Ptolemaida and in other towns of
Greece.
A lot of activities and manifestations are taking place all these days in
workplaces, schools, faculties, neighborhoods preparing the demonstrations.
NO TO THE UNJUST WAR
NO TO THE GREEK INVOLVEMENT
The new unjust war that USA-NATO have launched, with the participation of
EU, is murdering the Afghan people everyday. It destroys whole regions. It
creates throngs of refugees. After the condemnable terrorist strike in the
US, the imperialist terrorists are bombing hospitals, nursing homes, whole
villages; they are killing indiscriminately civilians, women and children.
Behind the hypocritic cries for combating terrorism, they hide the real
reasons for this war
- The military, economic and political control over Eurasia
- The control of oil reserves, the pipelines and the transhipment stations
- The world domination of the imperialist new order
- The way out of the ongoing economical crisis that the system faces.
Countries, people and movements that opose barbarity are becoming immediate
targets
- They are promoting measures to confine the civil rights and freedoms, to
repress the people's struggles
- They are terrorising the people with new laws and acts, like the new
"anti-terrorist" regulations adopted by EU
- Humanity is being forced to participate in generalised conflicts for the
profit of big capital and for the world domination of imperialism.
WE SAY NO TO THE WAR-NO TO THE NEW CRIME
THE PEOPLE ASK FOR PEACE AND A JUST SOCIETY
Greece, by decision of its government with the consent of the major
opposition, is participating in the war despite the exclaim of the people.
The Greek government has declared war against the people of Afghanistan,
with its agreement in the activation of Article 5 of NATO's charter.
The government is partner and jointly responsible for the crime. The US-NATO
bases of Souda, Action, Araxos support the murderous operations.
The Greek people demands to stop any participation in the war.
Common problems bring Greek, Afghan and Eurasian people together.
THE ENEMY IS COMMON, THE TERRORIST IMPERIALISM
Workers, proffessionals, young people, we all must join the struggle against
the war
-No consent, no silence, no tolerance
-We do not endorse the war's ultimatum
-We do not accept its funding through the increase of military expenses
-We deny our country to become a base of war operations
-We reject the "anti-terrorist" acts and the confinement of out rights; Our
struggle will abolish them
Thursday, Novemer 8th at Syntagma Square
We join our voice with all the peoples demanding:
-To stop the dirty imperialist war
-To stop the Greek participation and to close the foreign military bases
-Down with the laws and acts that threaten our rights
All come down in the streets. All join the struggle against the terrorism of
the imperialists US-NATO-EU
We can stop them!

Nouz vous envoyons l'appel a la manifestation, qui aura lieu le 8 Novembre a
l'embassade americaine, contre la guerre imperialiste. A part les syndicats,
les associations et les personalites qui ont ete a l'initiative, d'autres
ont exprime leur soutient ces derniers jours.
Des manifestations auront aussi lieu demain a Thessalonique, Patra, Aigio,
Kalamata, Giannena, Kaval, Kozani, Ptolemaida et aures villes grecques.
De nombreuses activites et rassemblements auront lieu ces jours dans les
lieux de travail, etablissements scolaire, univerisites et quartiers
pour preparer cette journee de mobilisation.
NON A LA GUERRE INJUSTE
NON A LENGAGEMENT DE LA GRECE
La nouvelle guerre injuste que les USA-OTAN ont declanchee, avec la
participation de l'UE, est entrain de masacrer le peuple Afghan chaque jour.
Elle detruit des regions entieres. Elle cree des masses de refugies. Apres
l'acte terroriste condamable aux USA, les terroriste imperialistes sont
entrain de bombarder des hopitaux, maternelles, des villages en entier; Ils
sont entrain de tuer sans discrimination des civils, femmes et enfants.
Deriere les appels hypocrtites pour le combat contre le terrorisme ils
cachent les vrais raisons de cette guerre
- Le controle economique et millitaire de l'EuroAsie.
- Le controle des reserves petrolieres, pipelines et les stations de leur
transbordement.
- La domination mondial du nouvel ordre imperialiste.
- Une porte de sortie de l'actuel a crise economique que le systeme est
entrain d'afronter.
Des pays, peuples et mouvements sociaux qui s'oppose a la barbarie sont
devenus des cibles immediates.
- Ils sont entrain de proumouvoir des mesures afin de restreindre les droits
civils et les libertes, et de reprimer les luttes populaires.
- Ils terrorisent le peuple avec des des nouvelles lois et actes comme la
nouvelle regualtion "anti-terroriste" adoptee recemment par l'UE.
- L'humanite est forcee a participer dans des conflits generaliss pour le
profit du grand capital et pour la dominitation imperialiste sur le monde.
NOUS DISONS NON A LA GUERRE - NON AU NOUVEAU CRIME
LE PEUPLE DEMANDE LA PAIX ET UNE SOCIETE DE JUSTICE
La Grece par la decision de son gouvernement et avec la complaisance de la
majorite de l'opposition, participe a la guerre malgres l'opposition du
peuple.
Le gouvernement grec a declare la guerre au peuple Afghan, avec son accord
pour l'activation de l'article 5 de la charte de l'OTAAN.
Le gouvernement est partenaire et co-responsable du crime. Les bases
millitaires de l'OTAN-USA a Souda, Araxos sont un support pour les
operations meurtieres.
Le peuple grec demande l'arret immediat de toute participation a la guerre.
Les problemes communs amenent les Grecs, Afghans et les peuples de l'Euraie
a etre solidaires.
L'ENEMI EST COMMUN : LE TERRORISME IMPERIALISTE
Travailleurs, professionels, jeunes, nous devons tous rejoindre la lutte
contre la Guerre.
- Non au consentement, non au silence non a la tolerance.
- Nous n'appuuons pas l'ultimatum de la guerre.
- Nous n'acceptons pas le financement de la guerre a travers
l'augmentation des depenses millitaires.
- Nous refusons que notre pays devienne une base pour les operations de
guerre.
- Nous rejettons les lois "anti-terroristes" et le bafouement de nos droits;
Notre lutte les abolira.
Jeudi le 8 Novembre a la Place Syntagma
Nous joignons notre voix avec celle du peuple demandant :
- l'arret de la sale guerre imperialiste
- l'arret de la participation greque et la fermeture des bases millitaires
etrangeres.
- l'abolition des lois et decrets qui menacents nos droits
Decendez tous dans les rues. Rejoignez la lutte contre le terrorisme des
USA-NATO-UE.
